About Tedmans
Tedmans is a franchising organization with a network of Franchisees servicing the Gold Coast and North New South Wales.
Dennis Tedman the current Director, started working with his father, William Tedman who owned Tedmans Pest Control (Tas) in the early 1960’s – and also trained with his Uncles Frank Bonney, and Lyle and Reg Smith who owned HPC Pest Control (WA).
Both of these firms (Tedmans & HPC) were to be later purchased by Rentokil, and Dennis was installed as state manager for Rentokil in Tasmania. However the allure of running his own business soon attracted Dennis to ‘the mainland’.
After approximately thirty-five years running his own Pest Control businesses Dennis formalised the Tedmans Pest Management System into an operations manual (TPMS Operation Manual), and licensed this to a number of Pest Control operators.

The Tedmans Pest Management System is the result of three generations of family involvement in the Pest Control Industry. And has been designed to adapt to the changes that have occurred, and are occurring within the industry. It is particularly focused on the following concepts:
- Programmed inspections & Reports i.e. objectively tailoring a program of follow-up inspections and reports to suit a Client’s property.
- Client Works i.e. making Client participation integral to the pest management process.
- Client Back-Up i.e. giving written commitment to each Client of free Verbal and On-Site backup.
- Safest Product Policy i.e. using the safest control agent that will be effective in each situation.
Tedmans specialize in Termite Management – especially inspecting and reporting. As well, Pest Control work is also carried out.
As you would expect, Tedmans are licensed and insured and are fully equipped with the latest treatment equipment and detection tools – including a high resolution Thermal Imaging Camera.
