Control Agents

Some commonly used control agents are:

Bifenthrin

Used to create a Termite Chemical Barrier, or for controlling Cockroaches, Spiders, Silverfish, Black/Brown Ants etc.

Deltamethrin

Used for controlling Cockroaches, Spiders, Silverfish, Black/Brown Ants etc.

Chlorflurazuron

Termite Bait active used in the Exterra® and Nemesis® systems.

Imidacloprid

Used to create Termite Treated Zones.

Permethrin

Used for controlling Cockroaches, Spiders, Silverfish, Black/Brown Ants etc.

Hexaflumaron

Termite Bait active used in the Sentricon* II® system.

Fipronil

Used for dusting Termite activity, or to create a Termite Treated Zone.

Product accreditations include:

• Altis® Reticulation system for periodic application of Termite control agents to soil under and around buildings.
• Borocol® Timber preservative materials for protection against Termites, Borers and wood decay fungi.
• Exterra® Termite interception and baiting system installed in and around buildings to eliminate Termite colonies. Requires periodic inspection and servicing usually at 1-2 monthly intervals.
• Eflex® Third party Termite Timber Damage Warranty. Covers repair and replacement of building timbers damaged by Termites up to $1,000,000. Conditions apply.
• Intrigue® Termite dust designed to eliminate termite colonies. It is applied to active Termite workings and is transferred back to the colony to kill the queen Termite.
• Nemesis® Termite interception and baiting system installed in and around buildings to eliminate Termite colonies. Requires periodic inspection and servicing, usually at 1-2 monthly intervals.
• Premise® A liquid Termite control agent that is periodically applied to soil around and under buildings to create a "Treated Zone" reducing the likelihood of Termite attack.
• Sentricon® Termite interception and baiting system installed in and around buildings to eliminate Termite colonies. Requires periodic inspection and servicing usually at 1-2 monthly intervals.
• Termidor® A liquid Termite control agent that is periodically applied to soil around and under buildings to create a "Treated Zone" reducing the likelihood of Termite attack.
• Termatrac® Termite detection device based on infra-red technology to locate Termite activity inside timber and other inaccessible areas.
• Termseal® A system of pre-construction products designed to prevent Termites gaining entry into buildings.
• Timbersafe® Third party Termite Timber Damage Warranty. Covers treatment of the building, and repair and replacement and make good repairs to homes damaged by Termites up to $100,000. Conditions apply.
